Carpe Data was founded in 2016 on a simple thesis. The signal carriers need to make better decisions lives outside their four walls, and ten years on, that thesis defines a category.
Carpe Data partners with the carriers writing modern insurance. We bring more than ten years of proprietary data and AI-native engineering into the workflows that matter, from quote to claim closure.
The company is headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, with engineering and operations in Lisbon, Portugal. Over 40 carriers run Carpe in production today, including nine of the top twenty P&C carriers.
From a humble Santa Barbara office in 2016 with 15 employees and a revolutionary idea, the company set out to attract and hire the data and industry experts who would help transform the insurance world, one quote, policy, and claim at a time.
