Business Insurance announces USIA finalists

Business Insurance announced finalists for its 2025 U.S. Insurance Awards program on Friday, recognizing teams across the commercial insurance and risk management sector. The awards honor collaborative projects rather than individual achievements, with this year's program expanding to include four innovation categories celebrating new technologies and services.

Carpe Data earned recognition as a finalist in the Claims Technology Innovation of the Year category. The company joins CorVel Corp., Davies Group, ICEYE Ltd., and Kinetic as finalists competing for the honor. This category specifically acknowledges technological advancements designed to improve claims management processes.

The program formerly operated under the Innovation Awards branding for 15 years before this year's relaunch. Senior Business Insurance staff selected finalists from submitted nominations, and a panel of risk managers will evaluate the finalists to determine winners. The awards ceremony will take place in New York on July 17, where highest-scoring teams in each category will be announced.
