Tearsheet has named Carpe Data the winner of Best Alternative Data Vendor in its 2024 Data Awards. The awards program recognizes leaders, companies, and products driving growth in the data-driven finance industry.

Carpe Data was honored for its proprietary small commercial data suite, Minerva, and AI-powered fraud detection software, ClaimsX Ultra. The platform empowers claims managers, adjusters, and investigators to proactively identify and capture evidence of fraud while revealing insights to underwriters for better classification and selection of commercial risk.

According to the announcement, both Minerva and ClaimsX Ultra help insurance carriers increase operational efficiency by automating traditionally time-intensive and insufficient processes. The tools save time, improve accuracy, and better serve policyholders.

Other 2024 Data Award winners included Zest AI for Data Company of the Year, Pagaya for Best Customer Data Implementation, and Bloom Credit for Data Innovation. The awards highlight how data and data sharing have become fundamental building blocks of modern finance.
